Integrating Moms With MS

I have been looking into the buddypress plugins and much more and have decided that I'm going to baby step this project a bit and first start with what I already have, which is the Moms With MS Community site (MomsWithMS.com) and then once I have that all polished and nice I will make the moves that need to be made to do the new site.

I'm working now to raise the funds to integrate the public MomsWithMS.org site run on WordPress with the private MomsWithMS.com site into one...still looking at how this is best possible, which I am 99% sure will be on WordPress but I <3 Ning so much that I'll definitely take a real look at it to see if it might be possible, I may just have to upgrade in which case it would be a money decision.

So as I am working up my campaign at Indiegogo.com (it'll appear there once it is launched) so watch this site or twitter (it will be announced by Kristin, MomsWithMS and also AutoImmuneMoms and I'll announce when it launches (hopefully tomorrow it'll be complete)! If you know anyone who might be interested in investing in this project there will be lots of cool perks to participating because we love our supporters!!!

Are You a Mom Diagnosed With an Autoimmune Condition?

It was just over two years ago that I created MomsWithMS.com which is an online community for moms diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Over those two years, the community has steadily grown and I have steadily been meeting other moms and realizing that MS is hardly the only thing people are suffering silently with.

I have owned some of the domains I will be using for this project for years, some part of me saw this happening way before I was ready in other words. Now though I do think it is the time, and I am working with Geoff McNeely to figure out how to make my vision a reality as soon as possible.
